She strode down the catwalk looking every part the toned Victoria's Secret Angel.
It was perhaps to be expected - model Adriana Lima had revealed a gruelling schedule before the show, involving months of everyday workouts, a carefully restricted diet and a liquids-only nine-day pre-show regimen.
But now the 30-year-old brunette has dismissed the gruelling regime - which raised eyebrows far and wide for condoning extreme dieting - as nothing more than a 'misunderstanding.'
Speaking with E! Canada, the Brazilian model urged impressionable teenage girls to ignore her stringent preparations.
'Those teenagers out there, don't go starving yourself or only drinking liquids... Don't do that please.'
